Ok, so after reading jerry james's blog (is that how you do that? Hmm....I shall ask the James that is closest to my heart when she wakes up from the nap her and josh are taking) and reading the coolest word ever...starts with an e and I can't remember the rest of it.......I had a word just randomly pop into my head. For all of you who are close to me, you know this is not unusual. Anyway, the word is "Euphamism". I used to know what it means, and i REALLY like the way that it sounds, and I would like to use it in a sentence and sound sophisticated and cool, and possibly win at scrabble with it (BIG points, Jeff!), so I would like to know it's meaning.
Now, you may be asking yourselves..."Why not just ask your intelligent Dictionary- Loving English Major husband, Rosie?" I'm so glad you asked. I am in AR and he is in AL. I would call him, but I have already called him twice today, first to play for him the "I love technology" song from Napolean Dynamite on Josh's keyboard, and second to tell him what a freakish coincidence it was that right after I played it for him, I changed the channel and THE SONG WAS PLAYING ON THE MOVIE CHANNEL!!!! ANyway, I don't want to bother him again. So.....
Since I am bored out of my mind because both of my companions are asleep, I will open up a discussion on my blog, the first of many. What is the meaning of this complex, beautiful word? "Euphamism". It just rolls off your tounge. Is it a type of eggroll? Possibly a breed of dog? Who knows? Maybe you do!
