Drumroll please...and the winner is....Bradford Philpot! If you guys haven't been keeping up with my comments page for the past post, you really ought to take a look. They are hilarious! But I think Brad's explanation of the root meaning of the word "euphamism" would have to be the icing on the cake. Congrats, Brad. You're almost as cool as Phillip. Almost. On to other business. Wow! It's great to be home! I loved being back in AR for a little while, but I missed my new home, I missed my new friends, I missed the youth, but most of all I missed my hubby. I know I am sappy, but I really do not like being away from him. But I am a firm believer in taking time for yourself, and I did really enjoy my week with my family and friends in AR. We had my favorite nephew, Josh's, birthday party on Saturday, and it was a blast! The above pic is my favorite from the party.

On the way home, I was preparing myself for the fact that my house would be a mess, with a sinkful of dirty dishes and a hamper full of dirty laundry. I walked into the door to find...the dishes done and the clothes in the wash! Man, what an awesome husband I have. My dad and I got home on Sunday, and he just left this morning. We had a really good time with him. Even more family fun: Phillip's brother's wife, Jackie, and their two girls, Janessa and Naomi, are coming in on Thursday to stay for a few days, so I think that that will be alot of fun. We haven't seen them, or really even talked to them that much, in about 2 months, so it will be fun for us to catch up. Phillip's brother, Jeremy, is also possibly coming down those days, so it will be like a big family reunion!

After Jeremy and Jackie and the girls leave on Saturday, we will start packing and preparing for our last two weeks of craziness for the summer. We will leave that Monday for Crosspoint, a kid's sports camp, and come back Thursday night, wash clothes, pack again, and leave Friday morning at 6 a.m. for Ohio for Fusion, a youth-run sports camp for kids. We will get back the following Saturday, and that will be the end of our trips for the summer! YAY! Now, don't get me wrong. I LOVE trips, and I have really genuinely enjoyed every trip that we have taken with the youth this summer (Especially the girls trip to Destin, girls!!:) ), but you have to understand, Phillip and I have had literally no time to regroup and rest, at all. So we are definately going to welcome a little R&R, ya know? Also, I am a very routine person. I like my routine. DO NOT mess with my routine, you know? And this summer, I have had no routine at all, and that drives me crazy. But it is good for me to be pulled and stretched. How else am I gonna grow in my relationship with Christ?

I have been overwhelmed lately by just thinking about Jesus. MY Jesus. Those two words mean so much to me now: Forgiveness, Love, Protection, Salvation, Freedom...I could go on and on. I am so thankful that he wants to be My Jesus, wants to be YOUR Jesus. In my busy life, it is so easy for me to just honestly forget about the beauty of Christ, but lately God has been reminding me of what He is to me, what He wants to be to me. I know that He is preparing Phillip and I for something big. It's something that we both feel. I don't know what it is, but I know that in order for us to fulfill our purpose, I have to continue to allow Him to grow me, to stretch me, to truly be my portion. And I am so thankful that he desires to be that to me and you.

OK, maybe I need to leave for a week and Michael would clean house. Yeah righ. You have a great guy. I am glad that you are all having a great time in Alabama. We are going to come and see you guys sometime but we have to wait till school starts and we have money.

Ashton says he loves his Rose. (Don't tell Phillip. I would hate for him to go hurt Ashton because he is hitting on his wife.)

Josh is such a doll.. LeeAnn showed us a lot of the pics on the camera and I had to giggle at them b/c he is sooo sweet and cute! Your summer would have done me in by now. I too am a pretty routine person and if I have to spend too much time away from it I start to feel unstable. God does seem to be preparing you guys for something... I'm sure it will be amazing whatever it is!

Good job Phillip on cleaning the house! I LOVE it when I leave and come home and Clayton has not just picked up but really cleaned. We both have such great hubbies! Praise the Lord for them :)
